Research Assistant, Cycles Project, 2019 Canterbury University, College of Arts, Department of Political Science and International Relations, N.Z.

In 2019, I served as a Research Assistant at Canterbury University, specifically within the College of Arts, Department of Political Science and International Relations. I collaborated with Bronwyn Hayward, Associate Dean Postgraduate Research, on various tasks, including translating questionnaires from English to Portuguese for children and young people in Sao Paulo.

2. “Artecture: The Appropriation of Urban Space through Participatory Art,” Thesis, 2018, Sao Paulo University Library, Brazil. My thesis explores the methodology of Deleuze’s Diagram and its application in participatory art, focusing on transforming urban spaces through artistic engagement.
3. “Artectura: A Apropriação do Espaço Urbano através da Arte Participativa, na Metodologia do Diagrama de Deleuze,” Nova Edições Acadêmicas, Portugal, 2018. Authored a book delving into the concept of urban space appropriation through participatory art, utilizing Deleuze’s Diagram as a guiding methodology.

• Mission Community Change Masterclass, 7-8 December 2023, Korimako Organisation.
• Member at the Digital Languages Research Center (COLABOR) at the University of São Paulo, involving:
• International Symposium Art Emergent Situation, 2017, Sao Paulo University, Brazil.Organised the event and presented work emphasizing the critical need for discussing urgent art processes that respond to destabilization, oppression, and restrictions affecting individuals, populations, territories, cultural systems, and the expression of freedom.
• Forum Fontié ki Kwaze – Cross Borders – The Challenge of Displaced Populations, 2017, Sao Paulo University, Brazil.Co-organized an interdisciplinary research forum assembling scholars from five continents, exploring themes based on sociology, psychoanalysis, art, communication, anthropology, law, and collaborative practices. • International Conference Thinking about the Future – Histories We Build, Narratives We Want, 2017, Sesc, Sao Paulo, Brazil.Presented an oral paper on conceptual axes and contemporary relations in the city.

• The Latin American Imaginary, 2015, Sao Paulo University, Brazil.Conducted classes on how North American culture negatively influences Latin American people, highlighting the artwork of Martin Sastre.
• Collaborating with COLABOR to organize and participate in numerous academic events.
