The fusion between art and architecture was called ARTECTURE, this is a result of analyzes and experiments carried out over the years of work in different countries and cultures.
From Deleuze’s Diagram, it was possible to create a process-based approach, where the action is easier to understand within a methodological organization. The urban space becomes a place for the creation of affections and social relationships in the design of the city from the user’s perspective.
Artecture is a different way of thinking about the creative process. The methodology is to observe three main components to achieve the goal with excellent results. Projects were created based on place (geography), culture, and affectivity, grounded on the theory of Deleuze’s Diagrams – from my Master’s degree thesis (University of Sao Paulo, 2018).
How does it work in practicing ?
Every creative process starts from research, Geo-spatial – according to the location it is possible to understand why a group of people has some experiences, these experiences are fundamental to prove the information. The Arithmetic aspect is when the project is developed by the creator (technician) and “dissolves” in the collective that starts to understand the process and be sustainable. The Affect is about ensuring that the outcome will be important to the people engaged on the process.

There are some pictures from a Lecture and exchanged ideas about Artecture at ZAT – Temporary Autonomous Zone
The conversation we had provided greater reflection on the look beyond their own creation, living with other people during the creative process also influenced their creation.
It was an immersive artistic residency in an abandoned convent, producing art 24 hours a day, with a single rule (not being able to go out and only producing with what was already in place) it was done with a lot of creativity and patience to look for things/objects that connect with their ideas.
