I’m Carolina, the leader of this inspiring endeavour. With a background in architecture, space design, urban planning, and art, I bring diverse skills and expertise to our initiatives. Throughout my career, I have passionately explored the intersection of art and community, striving to improve people’s quality of life while championing social justice and human rights. My extensive experience, spanning over 20 years, has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how creativity can be a powerful force for positive change. 

After being relocated to New Zealand, I quickly immersed myself in organisations dedicated to enhancing community well-being. My work aligns with the core values ingrained in me through my family’s commitment to social justice, with a profound sense of purpose, driven to make a meaningful impact on the Otautahi community and beyond. 

My collaboration with Gap Filler was a pivotal experience that greatly influenced me. This exceptional organisation allowed me to connect with diverse community-focused entities in Otautahi. This immersive experience further solidified my dedication to working closely with like-minded organisations, leveraging our collective efforts to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
