BeatRoots was created as a community gathering that brought people together through music, movement and shared cultural experiences.
While live performances formed the centre of the event, its broader purpose was to create opportunities for connection, participation and belonging. The strong community response resulted in the event selling out three days before opening, demonstrating the demand for inclusive cultural experiences that create meaningful opportunities for connection across communities.
